Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
six months or more of bartending experience
knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
ability to check guest IDs accurately
reliable attendance and punctuality
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours
capability to handle cash accurately
willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

Six months or more of bartending experience
accurate cash handling skills
ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase
communicate a cut-off to guests as required
listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as required
contact management if unable to resolve beyond standard decision-making
request additional or restock products as required
handle cash accurately and be responsible for issuing bank at the bar
maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization as assigned
