The company has established itself as a pioneer in venue development and end-to-end management solutions, managing a collection of seven world-class owned venues and providing expert services to an impressive client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Oak View Group is headquartered in the United States and prioritizes innovation, inclusivity, and excellence in the live entertainment sector, making it a top employer for those passionate about sports, music, and live event industries. The Texas Tech Club, located within the bustling city of Lubbock, Texas, is part of this dynamic company, blending hospitality with premium entertainment experiences in one of the region’s premier event venues. The Club prides itself on providing an upscale environment where sports enthusiasts, visitors, and community members can enjoy food, beverages, and exceptional service, often during major events at the important Texas Tech University stadium and other associated venues. This position is pivotal in enhancing the overall guest experience by knowing beverage varieties, upselling products, and maintaining excellent communication with patrons and team members alike. The job pays an hourly rate of $4.00 to $5.00 plus tips, and it is identified as a regular part-time opportunity. Benefits for part-time employees include access to a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting both short-term and long-term employee welfare. The role demands flexibility as schedules may include nights, weekends, and long hours, driven by event schedules and business needs. Candidates can expect to engage in a variety of tasks beyond serving drinks, including set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and inventory management. The company espouses diversity and inclusivity as core values and is an equal opportunity employer, striving to create an environment that celebrates and leverages the strengths of a diverse workforce.
