The bartender ensures excellent customer service, upselling products when possible, and maintaining the bar area’s cleanliness and organization. With an hourly wage of $6.75 plus tips, this role also offers part-time employees the benefit of a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Job Duties

demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties, and spirits
pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirements
communicate a cut-off to guests as required
listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management/security as needed
contact management for decisions beyond standard scope
request additional or restock products
manage the bar's issued bank
maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
set up and break down bar equipment
assist with cooler organization
