The part-time Bartender position at Dickey-Stephens Park offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Compensation for this role ranges from $11.00 to $14.00 per hour, in addition to tips, reflecting the importance of skill and attentiveness in this position. Job Requirements
- Six months or more experience bartending
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Bartending school preferred
- Accurate cash handling skills required
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state and federal regulations
- Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
- Communicate a cut-off to guest as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if required
- Request additional products or restock products as needed
- Responsible for the issued bank at the bar
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure that bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Set up and break down bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
- Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard decision-making scope
