Job Requirements

Six months or more experience bartending
High school diploma or GED preferred
Bartending school preferred
Accurate cash handling skills required
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
Responsible for learning or having knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and being able to upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage purchase
Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
Request additional or restock products as needed
Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
Other duties such as setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
Responsible for the issued bank at the bar
