With a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional experiences, OVG has positioned itself at the forefront of the live entertainment industry by combining innovative venue management with superior service standards.

The Barista position at the Seattle Aquarium location is a vital role within the Food & Beverage Management team. This part-time role pays $21.30 per hour and is also tip-eligible, offering a competitive hourly wage for individuals passionate about delivering superior guest experiences. The Barista is entrusted with the responsibility of providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during the aquarium's daily cafe operations. Beyond serving coffee, the role demands a strong focus on hospitality, attention to detail, and the capacity to engage with guests in a welcoming, timely, and respectful manner. The Barista acts as the frontline representative of the Food & Beverage department and plays a direct role in shaping the guests' impression through attentive service and high standards of presentation.

This role requires collaboration with the kitchen and other food service team members to ensure that orders are accurately prepared and served at the proper temperature and within an appropriate timeframe. The Barista is also responsible for setting up and closing the cafe, which includes resetting, stocking, and cleaning workstations and equipment according to checklists. Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the shift is essential to deliver a smooth and inviting service experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment and demonstrates strong communication abilities to interact seamlessly with staff and guests alike. Working at the Seattle Aquarium location, the Barista has a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic venue that brings together education, conservation, and entertainment. In addition to a competitive wage, part-time employees benefit from a 401(k) savings plan with matching, supporting long-term financial planning.

Overall, the Barista role at Oak View Group’s Seattle Aquarium offers not just a job but a chance to develop a career in a vibrant, guest-focused environment that values service excellence, teamwork, and diversity. With a commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunity, OVG fosters an environment where employees from all backgrounds can thrive while contributing to the company’s success in the sports and live entertainment industry.
