Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) stands as a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, distinguished by its comprehensive platform spanning venue development, management, and hospitality offerings. Since its founding in 2015, OVG has grown to become synonymous with excellence in managing some of the world’s most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Their portfolio includes seven world-class venues owned outright and a diverse client base that benefits from the company’s end-to-end expertise in live event operations. This reputation positions OVG as a dynamic and innovative employer that values inclusivity, diversity, and fostering environments where employees can thrive and grow.

The Barback position at Oneida Casino in Green Bay, Wisconsin, presents an exciting opportunity to join Oak View Group's food and beverage management team in a part-time capacity with a competitive hourly wage of $15.00. This role plays a vital support function within the bar setting by assisting bartenders in maintaining their operational flow during live events, ensuring patrons receive timely and efficient service. The Barback’s responsibilities extend beyond simple restocking duties to include cleanliness, sanitation, and safety adherence, all critical in delivering a high-quality guest experience. Employees in this role are expected to demonstrate excellent attendance and flexibility to meet the scheduling demands of events, further underlining the dynamic nature of the work environment.

As part of OVG’s commitment to its workforce, part-time employees in this role are eligible for participation in a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, underscoring the company's dedication to long-term employee financial security alongside immediate compensation benefits. The part-time Barback role at Oneida Casino is offered with a long-standing application window, closing on October 9, 2026, providing ample opportunity for interested candidates to apply.

The Barback will be responsible for critical operational tasks such as restocking beverages—including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options—and supplies around the bar. This includes handling ice wells, moving kegs, tapping them to ensure continuous service, and running secondary supplies like fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers to bartenders. Maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace is paramount, involving duties such as sweeping, mopping, and managing trash and storage areas to comply with health and safety regulations. Moreover, the Barback must be vigilant in identifying and reporting guests who may be visibly intoxicated, helping to maintain a safe environment that adheres to legal and company standards concerning alcohol service.

This role demands teamwork, fast pace, and a guest-focused approach critical in a high-volume event-driven venue. Communication skills are emphasized, requiring clear and respectful interaction with colleagues, management, and guests alike. Candidates with previous bar or hospitality experience, especially within fast-paced environments, will be well-suited to excel in this position. Given OVG’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion, the company actively encourages applicants from all backgrounds, fostering an inclusive culture that drives innovation and excellence in service delivery.
