Oak View Group is now seeking a motivated and dependable Barback for the Oneida Casino location in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This part-time position plays a vital supporting role within the Food & Beverage team. The Barback is responsible for assisting bartenders by ensuring the bar is consistently stocked and clean throughout events, thereby enabling bartenders to operate efficiently without interruption. This role demands a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and strict adherence to alcohol service regulations to maintain safety and professionalism. The employee must demonstrate excellent attendance and flexibility to work scheduled events as per business demands.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work part-time hours including evenings, weekends, and during events
  • physical ability to lift and move heavy items such as kegs
  • adherence to company attendance policy
  • willingness to undergo background checks and alcohol service certification if required
  • legal age for alcohol service in state of Wisconsin

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
  • possession of valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
  • ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory management
  • preferred experience in high-volume bar settings

Job Duties

  • Stock products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, restock icing wells, sweep and mop the bar area, move kegs in and out of keg coolers, tap kegs
  • run supplies for bartenders including fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers
  • assure that bar equipment is operable and clean before events
  • maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans, keeping closets clear of clutter
  • recognize visibly intoxicated guests and alert bartenders
  • maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
  • demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
