Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Must be able to recognize and act responsibly regarding intoxicated guests
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
- Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by law
- Ability to calculate basic math functions related to inventory
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar environment preferred
Job Duties
- Stock products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, manage icing wells, sweep and mop the bar area, move kegs in and out of keg coolers and tap kegs
- Run supplies for bartenders such as backup fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers
- Ensure all bar location equipment is operable and clean before events
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and surrounding areas including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking mats, emptying and relining trash cans, and clearing closet areas
- Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and inform bartenders accordingly
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work areas
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events
