The Oneida Casino location in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a Part-Time Barback to join their dynamic Food Services and Hospitality team. As a Barback at Oneida Casino, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting bartenders by ensuring they are fully stocked throughout events. This involves restocking non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, managing ice supply, cleaning the bar area, and handling keg operations efficiently. The Barback must adhere to all policies concerning alcohol dispensing and maintain impeccable sanitation and safety standards at the bar and surrounding areas. Attention to detail, proactive work habits, and excellent attendance are critical to thrive in this fast-paced, event-driven environment. The role requires an individual who can recognize guests who may be intoxicated and responsibly communicate this to bartenders to uphold the venue's commitment to guest safety and compliance with regulations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to recognize and act responsibly regarding intoxicated guests
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
  • Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by law
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions related to inventory
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Stock products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, manage icing wells, sweep and mop the bar area, move kegs in and out of keg coolers and tap kegs
  • Run supplies for bartenders such as backup fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers
  • Ensure all bar location equipment is operable and clean before events
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and surrounding areas including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking mats, emptying and relining trash cans, and clearing closet areas
  • Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and inform bartenders accordingly
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work areas
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events
