The Barback position at Oneida Casino in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a part-time role offering an hourly rate of $15.00. This position plays a critical support role within the Food and Beverage department, assisting bartenders during events to maintain smooth and efficient service. As a Barback, your responsibilities will include restocking products such as non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, icing wells, running supplies like fruits, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers to bartenders, and maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the bar area. Your role extends to ensuring compliance with alcohol dispensing policies and maintaining health and safety standards in the bar and surrounding areas.

This position requires excellent attendance and availability during scheduled events, making it essential for candidates to be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Working closely with bartenders and other team members, the Barback contributes significantly to the overall guest experience by ensuring that service runs efficiently without interruptions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • prior experience in barback or related food and beverage roles preferred
  • physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and moving kegs
  • adherence to all company policies and alcohol service regulations
  • excellent attendance and reliability
  • must be able to communicate effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
  • possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations
  • ability to calculate basic math functions related to product inventory
  • preferred experience in a high-volume bar setting

Job Duties

  • Stocking products for the bar including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
  • restocking icing wells
  • sweeping and mopping the bar area
  • moving kegs in and out of keg coolers and tapping kegs
  • running supplies such as fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers to bartenders
  • ensuring all equipment is operable and clean before events
  • maintaining cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas using sanitation procedures
  • recognizing and reporting visibly intoxicated guests to bartenders
  • maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • demonstrating excellent attendance and punctuality
