Successful candidates are expected to maintain excellent attendance and be available to work scheduled events according to business needs.
Key responsibilities include verifying bar setup prior to events, training new and current employees on property procedures and best practices, and stepping in to cover open positions as necessary to maintain service speed and guest satisfaction. The Bar Supervisor also has the authority and responsibility to check guests' identification to verify age requirements for alcohol sales, monitor guest consumption to identify visibly intoxicated individuals, and take appropriate actions to ensure guest safety.
Safety remains a high priority, with the Bar Supervisor expected to promptly address hazards, incidents, or accidents and report them to management. They play an essential role in fostering a positive work environment by providing ongoing support, mentoring, and constructive feedback to event staff, thereby promoting teamwork, enthusiasm, and cooperation.
The role also supports various special projects including training initiatives, inventory management, and event-specific needs, contributing to the overall operational success of the venue. The position is open until July 31, 2026, emphasizing OVG's commitment to finding committed team members who align with its vision of excellence and innovation in live entertainment.
Offering part-time employees access to benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and company matching, OVG promotes both immediate and long-term employee well-being.
