With a consistent focus on excellence, Oak View Group is dedicated to providing outstanding experiences for guests, artists, and partners alike, leveraging its innovative approach and industry expertise.
Located at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Oak View Group is seeking a Part-Time Bar Supervisor to join its Food & Beverage Management team. This role offers an hourly wage of $14.00 to $16.00 and plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of various bar locations within the arena. The Bar Supervisor is responsible for overseeing alcohol service at multiple bar sites, including portable and premium locations, ensuring compliance with all service standards, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
The position demands a personable individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic event environment. The Bar Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Concessions Bar & Premium Management staff and other leadership team members to manage training, inventory control, and special event support. Excellent attendance and a willingness to work scheduled events as needed are essential to success in this role.
Key responsibilities include ensuring proper setup of bar areas prior to event doors opening, training new and current employees in property procedures and best practices, and stepping in to cover open positions to maintain service speed and guest satisfaction. The Bar Supervisor also guarantees a safe, respectful work environment by promptly addressing safety concerns and promoting a harassment-free workplace. Supervisory duties extend to mentoring event staff and reinforcing company standards through leading by example.
Moreover, this role requires maintaining thorough knowledge of all bar locations, including geographic setup, equipment, evacuation routes, and adjacent guest areas. The Bar Supervisor is tasked with verifying guest age prior to alcohol service, supervising cash handling accurately, and addressing visibly intoxicated guests responsibly. Adherence to sanitation, health, and safety regulations is mandatory to ensure compliance and guest well-being.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking a part-time role within a vibrant live entertainment venue, who possess supervisory experience in food and beverage environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cash and inventory with precision.
