The position of Banquet Server at the Sevierville Convention Center is a part-time role offering an hourly wage of $17.00 to $18.00, with the additional benefit of 401(k) savings and matching plan, even for part-time employees. This role is crucial to delivering exceptional customer service during event operations, ensuring guests receive attentive, friendly, and efficient service from start to finish. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred
- minimum of one year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred
- knowledge and/or experience as a banquet server or banquet waiter
- ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often
- ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- knowledge of basic arithmetic
- punctual with consistent attendance
- able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers
