Job Duties

  • Promptly meet and greet every service customer in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Listen to customers' reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department
  • Offer logical diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy the customers' concerns
  • Provide accurate estimates for all recommended services or repairs
  • Maintain open communication with technicians and the shop foreman regarding job status updates
  • Handle minor customer complaints and/or misunderstandings with courtesy and tact, without exacerbating the issues
  • Make policy adjustments within the guidelines and budgets established by management
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry
  • Write and complete work orders, explain the work done to the customer, and collect payments
  • Strive to ensure that every customer is very satisfied with the level of service the shop offers
  • Provide superior customer service at all times
  • Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training the company offers
  • Perform other duties as required by management
  • Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times when conducting business
