Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Tipped Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. This is not your typical kitchen position; the role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the kitchen’s smooth functioning while maintaining rigorous standards of cleanliness, organization, and food quality. The work environment is professional and structured with emphasis on teamwork and consistent volume. One of the highlights of this position is the strong earning potential. The average hourly wage ranges from $22.00 to $24.00, which includes the combined hourly rate plus tips. Tips constitute roughly 60% of total earnings, resulting in robust nightly cash flow and a tax advantage where the first $25,000 in tips are exempt from taxation. This setup translates into a higher take-home pay than typical hourly kitchen roles.

The scheduled shifts are deliberately short, typically 5 to 6 hours, making it an excellent option for students or day workers seeking additional income. Open shifts are offered primarily on Monday through Thursday evenings, with additional flexible split shifts on Fridays and weekend slots that cover midday to late evening hours. The responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, cooking and grilling menu items to standard, supporting various kitchen stations such as grill, fryer, and prep areas, as well as handling dishwashing and equipment sanitization.   • Perform dishwashing duties and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized
  • Receive food deliveries, rotate stock, and assist with inventory counts
