Delaware North is part of a larger global legacy, originating from a family-owned company with over 100 years of history in the hospitality and service industry. Their operations stretch around the world, offering employees numerous opportunities for personal and professional growth across various sectors including sports, dining, gaming, and retail.
Delaware North offers a diverse work environment that is not only about delivering excellent services to guests but also about valuing their team members. With this philosophy, they create a workplace culture where employees feel part of a team and a family with potential career pathways that cater to various interests and goals.
The Club Supervisor position at Comerica Park is a seasonal role designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings and enjoy being at the heart of the action on game days. This opportunity centers around overseeing food service and hospitality operations within the Tiger Club, an exclusive area offering guests a premium dining experience with full views of the baseball field. The role combines operational management with a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that every member, from Club Runners to Servers and Bartenders, performs their duties effectively and adheres to company standards.
As a Club Supervisor, you will be responsible for training and supervising associates, guaranteeing that the Club is properly prepared for guests, maintaining the quality and presentation of food displays, and ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations. Additionally, guest satisfaction is paramount, and resolving complaints or issues with the help of the department manager is a key part of the role. Cleanliness, stock management, and adherence to sanitation and health guidelines are also essential duties.
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of two years of hospitality and high-volume dining experience, a basic understanding of cost control and profit and loss management, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and during events. Physical stamina is important as the job necessitates standing and walking throughout shifts and lifting up to 35 pounds.
Compensation for this seasonal Club Supervisor role ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. Delaware North values their employees' well-being, providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes weekly pay, training opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. Eligible employees may also access health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off including vacation and holidays, paid parental leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursements.
This role is an excellent fit for motivated individuals who want to combine a passion for hospitality, sports, and team leadership with career advancement in a reputable and vibrant company environment. By joining Delaware North, employees become part of a global hospitality legacy, gaining the opportunity to grow their skills and achieve their career goals while contributing to memorable guest experiences at a premier sports venue.
