Job Description
LOVB Nebraska Volleyball is a pioneering professional sports organization that is rapidly growing within the competitive sports industry in the United States. As a forward-thinking league committed to delivering an exceptional sports experience, LOVB Nebraska combines a passion for volleyball with a robust business foundation geared towards expansion and fan engagement. Operating primarily out of Omaha, NE, LOVB Nebraska functions in a dynamic startup environment that emphasizes innovation, operational excellence, and community involvement. This commitment is demonstrated through its focus on quality management of game day operations, ticketing systems, and fan experiences that enhance visibility and engagement across its audience.
The Ticketing Operations Manager role at LOVB Nebraska is a crucial position designed to oversee and optimize the comprehensive ticketing processes that support the league's events and operations. This exempt, full-time role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented professional adept at managing ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster Archtics and other CRM technologies to ensure seamless ticket sales, inventory management, and reporting. The manager will lead the effort to build and maintain ticketed events, preserving accuracy in pricing, inventory allocation, seating arrangements, and ticket offers to create an excellent fan experience. Working closely with the Director of Ticket Sales and other internal stakeholders, the Ticketing Operations Manager will develop and improve ticketing policies and procedures to streamline operations and support the league's growth strategy.
In addition to operational duties, the manager will take charge of analytics and reporting functions, transforming ticket sales data into actionable business insights. These insights will aid in strategic decision-making, maximize revenue opportunities, and enhance customer engagement strategies through CRM management and targeted communications. This role will also play an instrumental part on event days by coordinating with venue personnel, league representatives, and external partners to ensure ticketing functions run smoothly and adhere to all league and venue guidelines.
Beyond day-to-day operations, the Ticketing Operations Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, partnerships, finance, and operations teams to support promotional campaigns, sponsor ticket fulfillment, and fan engagement programs. This collaboration will help deliver integrated initiatives that reinforce LOVB Nebraska's mission and elevate the overall brand experience. Candidates poised to succeed in this role will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication capabilities, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. They must also uphold professionalism and discretion when managing sensitive customer and organizational data.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ experience in ticketing operations or box office management, with specific expertise using Ticketmaster Archtics being mandatory. Preference is given to those with experience in live events or sports organizations. LOVB Nebraska provides an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a growing professional sports league, helping to shape an innovative and collaborative workspace where your impact can be immediate and rewarding. The role's primary location is the LOVB Nebraska headquarters in Omaha, NE, and involves event-day responsibilities at home matches and select league events. Evening, weekend, and holiday work, along with occasional travel, are expected due to the nature of the sports event schedule.
