Job Description
Phoenix Raceway has been the premier motorsports venue in the Southwest since 1964 and is home to NASCAR's Championship Weekend. Located in Avondale, Arizona, Phoenix Raceway is renowned for its thrilling NASCAR Cup Series races and a variety of motorsport events that attract fans from across the nation. The raceway hosts two major NASCAR race weekends each year, including the Shriners Children's 500 NASCAR Weekend in March and the championship crowning weekend in November. These weekends feature competitions across several series such as the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, ARCA Menards Series, and more. Beyond racing, the venue also supports a wide array of events year-round including corporate meetings, charity functions, holiday celebrations, endurance competitions, driving schools, and Segway tours, making it a vibrant hub of activity suitable for various community and professional engagements.
Phoenix Raceway is now seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join the ticket office team during NASCAR race weekends. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences to race fans by managing ticket sales, resolving inquiries, and ensuring efficient ticket distribution. Working in this fast-paced environment requires the ability to handle large volumes of cash transactions accurately, maintain a professional demeanor, and communicate effectively with customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of NASCAR’s dynamic environment where passion for motorsports and excellent service intersect. Employees will thrive in a close-knit, high-energy setting that values teamwork, integrity, and commitment. NASCAR is committed to offering competitive salaries and a solid benefits package designed to support wellness and professional growth. This seasonal, event-based role at Phoenix Raceway is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, have a strong work ethic, and want to contribute to memorable race weekend experiences for thousands of fans. Join Phoenix Raceway to be part of an iconic sports venue where excitement, speed, and hospitality come together for one-of-a-kind event experiences.
