We are currently seeking a dedicated Cook 3 to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to high-quality food preparation and service excellence. In this role, you will take ownership of your live fire grill station, ensuring timely setup and quality control of all mise en place. You will be expected to proactively address any issues and maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout your shift. Responsibilities include managing personal prep lists, knowing all menu items thoroughly, and effectively communicating any prep or ordering needs to management. You will also engage in daily tasks such as deep cleaning projects, scheduled maintenance of kitchen equipment, and supporting management with orders and closing checklists. Training new staff on your station and providing input on menu changes are crucial elements of this position, fostering a collaborative and innovative kitchen team.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience
- Proven knowledge of cooking ingredients, procedures, and kitchen best practices
- Ability to maintain calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Refined verbal communication skills
- 2 years of previous line experience preferred
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
- Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
- Able to work single station in the kitchen
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Set up your live fire grill station as specified in a timely manner
- taste to ensure quality of all mise en place
- Take ownership of your live fire station and work actively to fix problems
- Maintain personal prep lists and manage daily activities with little active oversight
- Have thorough knowledge of all menu items
- Ensure all prep is done before the start of service and communicate any needs to a manager if unable to finish in time
- Leave the kitchen clean and organized with no spills or messes
- Help with dish station duties if needed
- Work service with attention to detail, cleanliness, and promptness
- Clean your live fire grill station thoroughly at the end of your shift including scrubbing surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, and ensuring all equipment is turned off
- Fill out accurate prep lists for station mates
- Communicate prep and ordering needs to management in a timely manner
- Perform other tasks including cross-training as directed
- Train new colleagues on live fire grill station and menu items
- Assist management with orders and closing checklists
- Provide valuable feedback on menu changes and execution of menu items
- Complete weekly deep cleaning projects and scheduled maintenance
- Perform all other job duties as assigned by leadership
