Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • at least one year of institutional cooking experience
  • minimum two years of food service experience
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • must live within commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to food preparation and service
  • compliance with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • produce all hot foods including preparation of wraps paninis sandwiches pizza and grab and go items
  • rotate between various stations including soup salad and sanitation
  • perform other job related duties as assigned
  • maintain quality and hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service
  • assist in inventory management and supply ordering as needed
  • adhere to safety and food handling protocols
  • collaborate with team members to ensure timely service
