The role of Assistant General Manager at théa offers an outstanding opportunity for experienced hospitality professionals to contribute significantly during an exciting growth phase as théa's concept expands to the Dallas market. This full-time position based in Phoenix provides a competitive salary and allows you to be part of a luxury property that is committed to innovation and excellence in hospitality. As Assistant General Manager, you will be instrumental in helping to launch and develop this exciting new restaurant concept by providing leadership and direction for the daily operations of the restaurant. You will collaborate closely with the team to develop and execute the overall concept, vision, and direction, which encompasses food and beverage offerings, service style, entertainment, ambiance, and décor aligned with the upscale positioning of théa.
Your responsibilities will include managing guest reservations, seating, and special event coordination, ensuring adherence to operational standards, compliance with legal regulations and maintaining exceptional guest experiences. Leadership qualities coupled with business acumen and attention to detail are essential to nurture and mentor the restaurant team, fostering a culture committed to hospitality every time.

Job Requirements
- 5 years of restaurant management experience in a luxury dining environment
- experience preferably in a hotel setting
- ability to provide leadership and direction to teams
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- knowledge of hospitality industry standards and laws
- capacity to manage daily operations efficiently
- ability to foster positive relations with guests, vendors, and staff
- eligibility to work in the United States
- willingness to undergo background checks

Job Duties
- assist in developing and executing the overall concept, vision and direction for the restaurant including food and beverage program and service style
- collaborate on creating menus, wine lists, and other offerings aligned with upscale positioning

- oversee guest reservations, seating arrangements, and private events or banquet functions
