Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with all daily operational procedures within the Food and Beverage Department and ensuring the safety, quality, and standards of all food and beverage services are upheld according to hotel, Shaner, and franchise specifications. The role is also critical in fostering communication with the General Manager, department managers, supervisors, and staff, while addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
This is a multifaceted position that demands both interpersonal skills and operational knowledge, including taking orders, preparing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as light meals with courtesy and efficiency. Maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and equipment standards is also essential to the role.
Candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in the restaurant or food and beverage industry, along with the required state age certification to serve alcohol, are highly encouraged to apply. Additional qualifications such as ServSafe or food safety training, alcohol awareness certifications like TIPS, and bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are advantageous. The ideal candidate will also possess familiarity with food and beverage cost controls, satisfactory communication skills with guests and coworkers, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred.

Job Duties
- Be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and varied shifts
- Ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department
- Maintain food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel Shaner and Franchise specifications
- Maintain and abide by standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department
- Respond and handle guest related issues pertaining to the department
- Ensure communication with General Manager all other Department Managers Supervisors and Staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
