As a Barista, you will be the dynamic and passionate face behind every cup served, crafting beverages with precision and artistry. Your role will extend beyond coffee-making; you will be a Guest Experience Champion, dedicating yourself to providing warm, personalized service that turns first-time visitors into loyal customers. Your ability to maintain efficiency, even during the busiest shifts, and uphold operational excellence will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our cafe services. This position demands financial acumen to handle cash transactions accurately, enhancing our revenue through exceptional service and customer rapport. You will also act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying The Tennessean’s professionalism and enthusiasm in your interactions and appearance. With at least 6 months of food and beverage customer service experience, including cash handling — barista experience a strong plus — and a naturally friendly attitude, you will fit seamlessly into our high standards of hospitality.
