The Rookery Activity Center features approximately 5,600 square feet of fitness floor space, a 25-yard lap pool, zero-depth entry recreational pool with a water feature and water slide, a sauna, a gymnasium, and a multipurpose room that hosts various programming catering to all age groups. The City of Lino Lakes is currently seeking a Manager on Duty to oversee the evening and weekend operations at the Rookery Activity Center. The role demands strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and an ability to enforce center policies effectively to maintain a safe and welcoming environment. As part of the position, the Manager on Duty will handle cash transactions, maintain safety and security protocols, and oversee the setup and takedown of equipment and spaces for various activities and events. This position requires availability during Thursday evenings as well as weekends during the day and evening.

An attractive benefit of this role includes a complimentary membership to the Rookery Activity Center, allowing the Manager to enjoy the diverse facilities and promote a personal commitment to health and fitness. The hourly wage ranges between $17.00 and $19.00, reflecting the importance of the position and the experience required. The City is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, adhering to equal opportunity principles, and encouraging qualified candidates from all backgrounds to apply. The Manager on Duty must be prepared to maintain accurate time records, manage shift coverage in the event of planned absences, and perform general cleaning duties as necessary to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the center.
