The Optimist is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team. The Sous Chef will play a critical leadership role in maintaining high culinary standards, managing kitchen staff, and overseeing daily back-of-house operations. This position encompasses responsibilities such as production oversight, food preparation, inventory management including purchasing and receiving, stewarding, and support during special events. With a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience and a generous quarterly bonus program, this role is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals looking to grow within a supportive and ethical environment.
