The Optimist is currently seeking experienced Servers to join their dynamic team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in an upscale dining setting. Servers at The Optimist act as ambassadors of the brand, skillfully guiding guests through the menu, explaining dishes, and enhancing every meal with attentive, professional service. The role requires a keen awareness of guests’ needs, proactive communication, and the ability to anticipate and address any concerns before they affect the dining experience.

Candidates with 2 or more years of experience in upscale dining are preferred, ensuring that each team member contributes to the high standards of service that The Optimist is known for. This is a competitive role with pay ranging from $2.13 to $8.00 per hour plus tips, depending on experience and ability, recognizing the value of skilled service professionals.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a server in an upscale dining setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in upscale dining
