Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a Sous Chef role
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and scheduling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards

  • 2 years in a Sous Chef capacity
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing budgets and labor costs
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, private parties and special events, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
  • Ensure culinary staff produces menu items to the highest standards
  • Run kitchen operations professionally and efficiently in absence of Executive Chef
  • Work calmly under pressure and lead a cohesive culinary team
  • Manage culinary budget and aggressively monitor labor, scheduling and overtime
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu development and kitchen improvements
