Job Requirements
- Food handler certification is required
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, reach overhead, and lift/carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with moderate to loud noise levels
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers, including using a 2-way radio
- Must have the ability to read and understand reports and instructions
- Must be able to work safely with chemicals according to SDS sheets and regulatory requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Minimum one year previous restaurant experience required
- Must be 18 years of age
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completion of assignments
- Able to work with the team and accept direction to ensure the best experience for our members
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while providing excellent service
- Able to use a cocktail tray to serve individual beverages, bread setting, and other items
- Must have polished, professional appearance and grooming at all times
- Able to exhibit professionalism and friendliness with customers and coworkers at all times
- Must be available to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Expedite and deliver food to the table of diners, accurately placing items for each guest, within the standard service times
- Assists servers with providing service to guests
- Assists in the completion of assigned daily side work
- Preset tables for each shift
- Promptly clean and reset tables throughout the shift, immediately after diners depart
- Stock operating supplies including china, glass, silverware, linen, etc.
- Present and continuously replenish non-alcoholic beverages and bread at the table throughout service
- Keep tables of the guest clean by removing the used/unwanted items
- Maintain continuous presence in the dining room
- Pick up fresh linen from the laundry to restock for the next shift
- Clean and sanitize all front of house areas, including the cappuccino machine
- Other duties as assigned
