Renowned for its rich history, vintage luxury, and time-honored traditions, the Inn offers guests an escape to a simpler, elegant era surrounded by the beauty of Southern California's sun-soaked lifestyle. Recently undergoing a property-wide renaissance, the Inn seamlessly blends the charm of a bygone era with modern comforts, providing an unparalleled hospitality experience where elegance and warmth are at the forefront. As a Sous Chef at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, you serve as the creative driving force behind the banquet kitchen. This leadership role involves working with a talented culinary team to produce exquisite dishes that delight guests at every event. Whether preparing classic recipes or innovating new menu items for special occasions, the Sous Chef ensures every plate is a masterpiece in both appearance and taste. Moreover, this role requires a balance of operational focus and creative vision, including designing banquet menus and food presentations tailored to enhance the guest dining experience. The role is classified as an overtime eligible manager (OEM), with overtime applied and calculated accordingly. This opportunity is ideally suited for culinary professionals passionate about high-volume, full-service restaurant environments who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings where leadership and creativity intersect. In this role, you will not only contribute to the excellence of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe but also be part of the broader Evolution Hospitality network, known for cultivating talented individuals who value both personal growth and professional success. This position offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan, with daily pay options also available after the initial waiting period. Joining this team means becoming a part of a world-class organization dedicated to delivering extraordinary guest experiences through teamwork, innovation, and a deep commitment to quality cuisine and hospitality excellence.
