As a Food & Beverage Manager at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This overtime eligible managerial position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team dedicated to hospitality excellence. Your responsibilities range from managing daily operational compliance and ensuring guest satisfaction to coaching and developing your team. You will oversee all aspects of food and beverage service, including inventory management, promotions, payroll, and scheduling. Your leadership will directly impact the atmosphere and the overall success of the property's restaurants and lounges. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in hospitality or relevant college degree with related experience
  • Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Strong financial and arithmetic skills
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in hospitality or relevant college degree with related experience

  • Preferred supervisory experience

Job Duties

  • Ensure excellent guest hospitality from lounge to banquet
  • Coach and train team members for smooth shift operations
  • Maintain compliance with grooming, safety, and required certifications including Food Handlers and Alcohol Awareness
  • Handle payroll, scheduling, and productivity reporting
  • Ensure food quality, execute promotions, and oversee inventory and beverage purchasing
  • Communicate effectively to address guest requests and resolve concerns
  • Analyze reports, participate in meetings, and contribute positively across the team
