Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read write speak and understand English clearly
  • Excellent guest service communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work nights weekends holidays and overtime as business needs require
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced crowded and noisy environment with exposure to bright lights
  • Ability to respond to visual and verbal cues and work in confined spaces as required
  • Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation including lifting pushing pulling and carrying up to approximately 100 pounds
  • Must meet professional appearance grooming and conduct standards

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide fast friendly and professional service throughout the dining experience
  • Manage guest seating according to established rotation and reservation guidelines to ensure balanced service and optimal table flow
  • Maintain accurate seating wait list and reservation documentation and monitor table availability in real time
  • Keep the host stand cashiering area and surrounding dining spaces clean organized and guest ready in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Assist wait staff and bus persons as needed by refilling beverages pre-bussing and bussing tables and responding to guest needs
  • Communicate clearly with service staff regarding seating status guest needs and operational priorities
  • Promote current casino or property events and provide guests with directions or information as needed
  • Complete assigned opening and closing duties to ensure readiness for the next shift
  • Thank guests invite them to return and create a positive welcoming departure experience
  • Perform additional job related duties as assigned
