Job Description

The Broadmoor is an iconic luxury resort known for its exceptional service, stunning location, and historic significance. Located in Colorado, The Broadmoor has earned a prestigious reputation as the longest-running Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond resort in the world. With a rich history steeped in excellence and tradition, The Broadmoor provides an unparalleled experience that blends classic elegance with modern luxury. The resort features exquisite dining options, modern amenities, and a vibrant community atmosphere that fosters both employee growth and guest satisfaction. Dedicated to creating a culture of family and community, The Broadmoor emphasizes teamwork, respect, and professionalism to maintain its world-class service standards.

The Food Runner/Busser position at The Grille, one of the resort’s fine dining establishments, is a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant and ensuring guest satisfaction. This is an hourly position with a pay range of $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, which includes a base wage of $5.42 plus service charge commissions that fluctuate based on event volume and time of year. Typically, employees in this role earn between $13 to $20 per hour through these service charge commissions. The position guarantees at least the current Colorado minimum wage of $15.16 per hour. This role is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring a strong focus on guest service, attention to detail, and teamwork.

As a Food Runner/Busser, you will act as an essential link between the kitchen and dining room, delivering food efficiently and accurately to tables while maintaining the impeccable standards expected at The Broadmoor. You will also assist in the upkeep of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables, replenishing linens and silverware, and supporting the serving staff as needed. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, as you will communicate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and chefs to ensure timely and accurate service while anticipating and responding to guest needs. Thorough knowledge of menu items and food preparation is important to provide knowledgeable answers to guest inquiries.

Beyond the operational duties, this role embodies the spirit of the Broadmoor brand as you uphold the resort’s policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. You will be expected to demonstrate a courteous, professional, and friendly demeanor at all times. Familiarity with the resort’s history, restaurants, retail outlets, and local points of interest will enhance the guest experience you help facilitate. This position offers not just a job but an opportunity to grow professionally within a prestigious and supportive environment committed to career development.
