The position of Guest Room Attendant (GRA) in the Housekeeping Department plays a critical role in upholding the cleanliness and safety of guest rooms within the hotel. This hourly role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely passionate about providing outstanding service. As a Guest Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping, ensuring that guest rooms are spotless, safe, and inviting. Your duties will include cleaning and maintenance tasks that comply with OSHA chemical Right-To-Know standards, answering guest inquiries professionally, assisting with special guest requests, and escorting guests to various hotel locations as needed.

The position requires excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management, fostering a collaborative and pleasant environment. The role demands flexibility, as you must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Job Requirements

  • At least 1 to 6 months of experience in hotel housekeeping
  • Ability to read and speak English

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests team members and management in both written and verbal form
  • Understand and comply with all company departmental and gaming control board rules and regulations policies and procedures
  • Must have 1 to 6 months of related experience
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with team members and guests
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Responsible for practicing supporting and promoting the company service standards at all times
  • Ability to communicate with guests in a professional manner
  • Answers guest questions in a manner that reflects an understanding of the department and property in general
  • Performing cleaning and maintenance tasks in accordance with OSHA chemical Right-To-Know standards
  • Assist in accommodating guest special requests and assisting to escort guests to desired location
  • Observe and report unusual or suspicious behavior
