Seneca Gaming Corporation is a prominent company specializing in the gaming and hospitality industry, offering a diverse range of entertainment and dining experiences. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence, Seneca Gaming Corporation operates multiple casino properties that feature upscale amenities including full-service restaurants, bars, and event spaces. The company is committed to maintaining high standards of service and quality, ensuring that guests enjoy an exceptional experience during every visit. Its dedication extends beyond entertainment to also include professional growth opportunities, rigorous compliance with internal controls, and a collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and teamwork.
The Restaurant Room Manager role at Seneca Gaming Corporation is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the oversight and management of the assigned food and beverage (F&B) outlet within the casino environment. This role demands a dynamic individual who can administer, direct, and control the daily operations of an upscale restaurant, aligning with the corporation's policies and objectives. The Restaurant Room Manager is integral in implementing and maintaining restaurant standards that reflect the company’s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
In this role, you will lead the restaurant staff through continuous training and performance monitoring to ensure top-notch service delivery. Your responsibilities include evaluating and providing constructive feedback to Shift Managers and staff, managing budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility, and developing special menu offerings that resonate with current industry trends and guest preferences. Maintaining effective communication channels across the department and with overall property management is essential to this leadership position.
Furthermore, the Restaurant Room Manager takes a proactive approach in resolving service failures and addressing guest complaints with professionalism consistent with a five-star dining experience. Administrative duties such as payroll processing, scheduling, personnel management, and the reconciliation of daily reports are also core components of the position. This individual plays a critical role in enhancing profitability while fostering an environment that promotes continuous improvement and employee accountability.
The position requires a candidate who is at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma as a minimum educational requirement; however, an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates are expected to bring a minimum of six years of experience within the food and beverage sector, including at least three years in supervisory roles within high-volume restaurant settings, and one year in a general manager capacity. Essential skills include excellent communication, team building, problem solving, and budgeting expertise, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.
The starting salary rate for this position is $55,612 per year, with negotiable compensation based on experience and education. Employment is subject to completing all Seneca Gaming Corporation training within the first nine months and adhering to a schedule that covers a 24-hour operation as required. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to influence the success of a premier gambling and dining establishment while advancing their career in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
