We are seeking a Cook to join our culinary team, a role vital to maintaining the high standards and seamless operation of our food service outlets. This position encompasses overseeing food preparation across various outlets including the restaurant, café, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquet events. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and supervising food items with precision, ensuring each dish not only meets but exceeds quality, portioning, and presentation expectations.

The Cook acts as a Kitchen Captain who leads and supports kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency and consistently deliver outstanding food and service. This role demands someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, able to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Effective communication is critical as the Cook will interact with coworkers and guests, addressing concerns with professionalism and clarity.

Maintaining a spotless and well-organized kitchen in compliance with sanitation and safety standards is essential, as is demonstrating a proactive approach by anticipating needs and acting in advance to prevent service disruptions. Time management skills are equally important to ensure food preparation and service are timely and aligned with guest expectations.

This position requires at least one year of experience, or a culinary graduate with comparable experience in a hotel or related field, and a valid Food Handlers Certification compliant with state regulations. The ideal candidate maintains composure under pressure, quickly evaluates situations, and determines appropriate actions, while fostering an environment of teamwork and excellent service. Job Requirements
