Dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Aimbridge Hospitality fosters a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration, setting benchmarks for operational standards and guest satisfaction throughout its properties. As a company, Aimbridge Hospitality emphasizes the importance of community, sustainability, and development, offering employees ample opportunities for personal and professional growth within a dynamic and supportive workplace environment.
The Area Director of Sales (ADOS) role at Aimbridge Hospitality is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing and enhancing the sales performance within a designated portfolio of hotel properties. The ADOS is entrusted with driving total revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, leadership, and fostering a collaborative sales culture that aligns with the company’s goals. This leadership role extends beyond managing sales activities; it incorporates mentoring and supervising a sales team, ensuring operational compliance, and engaging consistently with guests and employees to promote positive relationships and elevate service standards. By integrating operational insights with sales strategy, the ADOS plays a critical role in maximizing revenue and profitability for assigned properties. This position requires a hands-on leader who is capable of performing weekly sales activities, including telemarketing, cold calls, property tours, and appointments, while simultaneously coordinating with property and regional leadership. The ADOS will provide coaching, conduct training sessions, and utilize sales performance data to implement strategic improvements effectively.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in hotel sales and team leadership, possessing a minimum of four years progressive experience or equivalent educational qualifications with relevant experience combined with supervisory capabilities. The position demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in financial data analysis, all critical for navigating the complexities of the hospitality sales industry. The ADOS must be adaptable, composed under pressure, and committed to upholding the company’s high standards of operational compliance and workplace culture.
Aimbridge Hospitality offers a competitive full-time employment package, including exciting benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability income protections, life insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. Additionally, the company now offers daily pay options, underlining its commitment to employee satisfaction and financial flexibility. This role, with its strategic importance and comprehensive support, is perfect for a motivated sales leader looking to make a significant impact in a respected hospitality management company.
