Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Food Handlers Certification compliant with state requirements
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternatives quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor
- Have thorough knowledge of menus and their preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
- Complete necessary food and station preparations before opening
- Prepare and display buffet food items according to standards
- Maintain kitchen line post during operating hours
- Prepare banquet food following event orders
- Service food for Associate Cafeteria
- Prepare all foods according to standard recipes
- Prepare specials under restaurant leadership direction
- Breakdown buffets and kitchen line after meals
- Work banquet food stations as scheduled
- Practice safe work habits
- Know fire extinguishing equipment locations and operations
- Be familiar with hotel policies and emergency procedures
- Use Production Charts per standards
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous
- Operate and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment
- Maintain "Clean As You Go" policy
- Assist in food storage and rotation
- Sign keys out and in under supervision
- Attend management meetings
- Perform other duties as requested
- Occasionally interact with guests and colleagues unsupervised
- Maintain trust and responsibility
- Represent the company with good character and sound judgment
