Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related role, preferably in luxury hospitality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including different shifts and weekends
- Work authorization for the location
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Availability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Certification in TIPS, ServSafe, and RBS preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Job Qualifications
- TIPS Certification
- ServSafe Certification
- RBS Certification
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- Ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems
- Previous experience in a luxury or fast paced environment
- High analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in speaking, writing and reading English
Job Duties
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- The ability to stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments
- The ability to ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service
- The ability to utilize the hotel's computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings
- The ability to ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks
- The ability to service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area
- Properly and accurately close guest checks
