The TGCM (Total Gas & Chemical Management) Operations Technician 5 role based in Dallas, TX is a pivotal position within Air Liquide’s semiconductor support team. As a TGCM Operations Technician 5, you will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation and maintenance of liquid bulk and specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment on-site. The role requires 24/7 readiness to support uninterrupted production, emphasizing safety, precision, and teamwork. Key duties include conducting minor inspections and preventive maintenance, performing daily rounds to ensure site safety and operational efficiency, monitoring and recording system readings, and facilitating gas and chemical container exchanges. You will develop expertise in bulk delivery procedures and support the safe and efficient transfer of bulk gas and chemical trailers.

The role also involves active participation in emergency response, contributing to customer and community programs focused on safety, training, operations, and preventive maintenance. You will play a part in training TGCM contractors, helping to grow the team’s capabilities and uphold strict health, safety, and environmental standards. Additionally, you will perform minor analytical and sampling procedures to maintain product quality and support waste management initiatives in compliance with hazardous waste regulations.

This technician position demands a proactive, self-motivated individual with electro-mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will be expected to communicate effectively, follow detailed instructions, and function well in high-stress, emergency situations. Physical demands are considerable, including lifting up to 60 lbs, standing or walking up to 10 hours per day, operating heavy equipment such as hydraulic foot pumps, and wearing personal protective equipment including respirators.
