The role being offered is for a merchandising and inventory representative responsible for managing and stocking a variety of building products, including millwork, mouldings, columns, boards/lumber, and stair parts, within Lowe's retail stores. This position demands a high level of responsibility, including maintaining inventory data through mobile technology, placing product orders promptly, and ensuring the visual merchandising and signage are maintained to enhance sales. The representative must cultivate strong supplier-customer relationships to promote sales growth effectively. A significant portion of this job involves daily travel using a company-provided vehicle, necessitating a clean driving record and the ability to travel consistently. Physical strength and stamina are required as lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds is part of the daily duties. This position is best suited for self-motivated individuals with an eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in merchandising or inventory management preferred

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service

Job Duties

  • Remove and dispose of cull product from inventory and in accordance with company policy
  • Order product for replenishment of sold inventory in a group of Lowe's retail stores
  • Merchandising and stocking in Lowe's retail stores
  • Manage and order inventory, stock building products in defined territory
  • Build strong supplier-customer relationships with members of the organization in serviced facilities
  • Maintain valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Visit all stores in the assigned group per schedule determined by district manager
  • Pack out products within 36 hours of delivery as required
  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly
  • Use fax machine, copier, smartphone, and computer proficiently
  • Submit Market Shops, Price Shops, and Surveys as required by management
  • Work independently with a keen eye for merchandising and detail
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through hard work and commitment
