Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record
  • Foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Presentation abilities
  • Ability to build relationships and cold call
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Competitive spirit to exceed goals
  • Problem solving, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Team collaboration mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations
  • Manage time and territory effectively
  • Work collaboratively with specialists, marketing, supply chain, and customer service to assist with new accounts and product delivery
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence and participating in industry events
  • Manage delivery issues and ensure adherence to routing schedules
