Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred
  • Experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Ability to cold call and develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive mindset with a goal-driven attitude
  • Problem solving, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Tech proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms, menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations
  • Work collaboratively with specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service teams to assist with top penetration opportunities and new account openings
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence, business directories, client leads, organizations participation, trade shows and conferences
  • Manage deliveries according to scheduling, troubleshoot order process issues like delivery mistakes and stock-outs
  • Keep informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor products, prices and sales to provide value-added information to customers
  • Conduct regular check-ins, site visits and follow-ups by driving personal motor vehicle to ensure customer satisfaction
