As a Territory Manager at US Foods, you will be at the heart of driving business growth and strengthening customer relationships within your assigned territory. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record
  • Preferred experience in foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit and goal-oriented mindset
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 75 lbs occasionally

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing the customer relationship in a team-based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by increasing case growth, acquiring new business, and delivering impactful sales presentations
  • Work collaboratively with specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new account openings
  • Coordinate with marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers through market intelligence, business directories, client leads, and industry events
  • Manage deliveries according to transportation routing schedules and troubleshoot order process issues
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Conduct regular customer check-ins, site visits and follow ups using personal vehicle
