Job Description
Anderson Merchandisers is a well-established merchandising company offering flexible work schedules and great benefits to its associates. The company places a strong emphasis on developing a supportive and engaging work environment where associates are not only expected to work hard but also encouraged to have fun. The team is comprised of individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and a passion for achieving results independently. Anderson Merchandisers serves a variety of retail clients, focusing on ensuring that their product lines are presented attractively and effectively in stores. With competitive pay and extensive benefits packages available for both full-time and part-time associates, Anderson Merchandisers attracts dedicated and talented individuals committed to growth and success.
The role of Territory Sales Lead at Anderson Merchandisers is crucial in managing and motivating assigned associates to meet and exceed sales targets as well as client and retailer expectations. The Territory Sales Lead has the primary responsibility of supervising and developing the skills of Sales Merchandisers, fellow leads, and seasonal staff within their assigned territory. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and that merchandising standards are consistently maintained. The Territory Sales Lead also plays a key role in educating customers and store personnel about the features and benefits of the products represented by the company, contributing to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Market Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Lead is a hands-on leadership position that involves regular communication with store associates and management to build rapport and promote collaboration. The individual in this role is expected to utilize company tools, such as handheld devices, with proficiency and uphold company, client, and retailer confidentiality at all times. Flexibility in scheduling, including the willingness to work nights, overnights, and weekends, is required to adapt to the dynamic retail environment.
This position also demands physical capability to handle frequent lifting of products and equipment, sometimes requiring assistance for heavier items. Associates must be comfortable with bending, twisting, climbing, and fine motor skills, reflecting the active nature of merchandising duties. A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance are necessary as travel within the territory to various store locations will be part of the daily routine.
Overall, the Territory Sales Lead role at Anderson Merchandisers offers a rewarding career opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced retail support environment and are eager to develop leadership skills while contributing directly to sales success and brand visibility.
