Job Requirements

  • Be required to obtain and carry a badge after passing a background check
  • have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • have a professional disposition and appearance
  • possess a strong work ethic, be highly organized, self-motivated, sales oriented
  • be willing to drive reasonably long distances daily or weekly
  • be comfortable with occasional overnight hotel stays while managing remote sections of the territory
  • possess general computer skills including email, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, CRM experience
  • possess professional verbal and written communication skills
  • possess basic construction knowledge

Job Qualifications

  • Ged or high school diploma
  • college associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • residential or commercial outside sales experience
  • construction, landscaping, or real estate background
  • project management and/or territory management experience
  • logistics and route management skills
  • big-box retail vendor relations experience

Job Duties

  • Grow sales volume in assigned territory with a target of $750K-$1Million in installed unit sales
  • manage incoming warm leads generated through various channels
  • travel to appointments with partners and clients throughout the assigned territory
  • consult with clients virtually and in person to design and bid custom outdoor structures
  • process project documents and payments for sales ranging from $10K to $100K
  • manage multiple projects at various sales stages while coordinating design and permitting with other employees
  • routinely audit and maintain displays at Home Depot stores
  • maintain relationships with big box retailers through product training classes and partnership meetings
  • provide professional customer service, collaboration, and communication
  • achieve and maintain sales and service KPIs
