Job Requirements
- 1 or more years of sales experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record in good standing
- Foodservice, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
- Problem solving ability, organization and negotiation skills
- Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Tech-savviness with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Duties
- Be the customer champion: own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
- educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies to help customers succeed
- drive sales success: selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations and tailoring sales approach
- team based selling: work collaboratively with specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening, and coordinate with marketing, supply chain and customer service for seamless product delivery
- lead with insight: develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence, business directories, leads, and participation in organizations and trade shows
- delivery resolution: manage deliveries to transportation routing schedules and troubleshoot delivery problems such as mis picks, short loads, and stock-outs
- competitive advantage: know market conditions, product innovations, competitors’ products, prices and sales, and share information with customers as value-added services
- stay on the move: drive personal vehicle to conduct regular check-ins, site visits and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
