The role of Territory Manager, Critical Care (CCTM) at Getinge is a highly dynamic and impactful position responsible for the sales and support of Getinge's Critical Care product portfolio within the designated territories of Michigan and Indiana. This position plays a critical role in driving market share growth, fostering strong customer relationships, advancing brand loyalty, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Critical Care Regional Manager, the Territory Manager will engage with healthcare professionals including physicians, clinicians, and hospital decision-makers to promote and sell high-value capital medical equipment.

In this role, the Territory Manager will develop strategic business plans tailored to capitalize on all potential customer opportunities. They will serve as a key business partner and consultant to clients, providing expert guidance on product application and benefits to meet the specific needs of various healthcare providers. Responsibilities include forecasting, monitoring, and closing sales opportunities while offering superior post-sales support. The candidate is expected to participate in product demonstration events, assist with installations, and maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional skills in business acumen, territory management, time and resource allocation, and teamwork. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is essential for managing sales pipeline activities effectively. Additionally, the role requires a deep understanding of compliance with governmental regulations, integrity, and ethical standards.

This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with at least three years of medical device sales experience, preferably in high-dollar capital equipment sales to physicians and integrated delivery networks (IDNs). Certifications relevant to ventilation, anesthesia, monitoring products, respiratory therapy, or nursing are preferred. The ability to travel as needed with a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

The total target compensation for this role ranges from $247,000 to $252,000, which includes a base salary plus incentive compensation based on performance. The role offers the flexibility of remote work within the assigned territory. Job Duties

  • Sell equipment to all potential and existing customers in aforementioned territory
  • Create strategic selling business plans for all customer opportunities
  • Serve as a key business partner to Getinge clients in the field and develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Track, report and analyze sales each opportunity with the Regional Manager on a routine basis
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel through meetings, conferences, and identifying key purchasing decision makers
  • Determine product and pricing, goals, and product usage by meeting with hospital personnel
  • Forecast, monitor, close and provide post-sales support of all territory business
  • Promote all Getinge product offerings, including equipment lines, training programs and service contracts
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing solutions or working with clinical research, pricing and marketing personnel
  • Plan, prioritize, monitor, and track all sales cycle events
  • Lead follow-up, sales planning, and territory management
  • Manage or complete product demonstration events and assist in installation and post-sales support
  • Monitor and report customer satisfaction, support, or issues to the Regional Manager
  • Monitor and update individual forecasted sales data weekly with focus on accuracy
  • Responsible for meeting individual order and sales targets as provided by management
  • Work in conjunction with the Regional Manager to provide succession planning and participate in training lesser experienced representatives
  • Apply business concepts, procedures, and practices
  • Exceed business plan quota and develop sales plans for all opportunities
  • Manage time and resources within assigned territory to achieve objectives
  • Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and maintain honesty, integrity, and excellent work ethics
  • Enhance teamwork within the region and maintain collaborative relationships at all organizational levels
  • Implement assigned operations within budget
  • Influence others and function effectively in a team selling approach
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and listening skills
  • Participate in development of less experienced staff by setting examples and providing guidance
  • Utilize basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with CRM tools
