Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record
  • Ability to work daily in an outside office environment within an assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel regularly by personal vehicle
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in sales and customer relationship management
  • Ability to perform cold calls and build strong business relationships
  • Physical ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team-based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales success by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations
  • Work collaboratively with specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence, business directories, and networking
  • Manage deliveries according to transportation schedules and troubleshoot order issues such as delivery mispicks and stock-outs
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors to provide valuable market insights to customers
  • Conduct regular check-ins, site visits, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
