Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record
- Foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and cold call
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Competitive spirit with drive to exceed goals
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills
- Team collaboration skills
- Tech-savviness including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Duties
- Be the customer champion by owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team-based selling model
- Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies
- Drive sales success by increasing case growth, acquiring new business, and delivering tailored sales presentations
- Work collaboratively with specialists and cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and customer service
- Use market intelligence, trade shows, and networking to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Manage deliveries according to the transportation routing schedule and resolve any order-related issues
- Regularly visit customer sites in assigned territory to ensure satisfaction and maintain strong relationships
