Job Description
Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek is one of the most romantic and iconic luxury hotels located in Dallas, Texas. Originally a private residence, this hotel has been meticulously restored to retain its intimate and elegant ambience. Known for its impeccable service, attentive associates, and thoughtful amenities, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek continues to set the standard for excellence in the luxury hospitality scene in Dallas. With its renowned Mansion Restaurant, the hotel has earned acclaim for fine dining and culinary excellence, offering guests a variety of dining options including al fresco and in-room dining experiences. The establishment’s commitment to quality, luxury, and personalized service makes it a preferred destination for discerning travelers and locals alike.
The Seasonal Bartender position at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standard of guest satisfaction and service quality expected at this prestigious hotel. This role is focused on delivering a refined yet approachable beverage experience on the restaurant patio. The bartender is responsible for the precise preparation and service of cocktails, wines, and Champagne, offering an elevated and personalized hospitality that aligns with the hotel’s luxury brand. The position requires an individual who is fully conversant with all services offered by the hotel and has a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items served. Hospitality skills are essential for engaging with guests warmly and confidently.
The Seasonal Bartender must ensure that the bar and surrounding areas are impeccably clean and fully stocked, maintaining proper mise en place with garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar tools for efficient service. This role demands collaboration with patio servers to provide seamless, timely, and accurate beverage service, particularly during high-volume periods where maintaining quality and composure is critical. The bartender will closely monitor ticket flow and prioritize orders, uphold responsible alcohol service standards in compliance with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regulations, and manage cash handling and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, as well as the ability to resolve problems using good judgment. The bartender must follow directions thoroughly, work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data. Physical endurance is necessary due to the demands of working long shifts, transporting goods, and enduring various work environment conditions such as heat, cold, and outdoor patio exposure across different seasons.
Experience in a similar position within a well-established hotel, especially luxury or ultra-luxury properties, is highly preferred. The candidate must hold a current and valid Food Handler’s card and TABC card. This seasonal role offers an excellent opportunity for service professionals to contribute to a world-class team focused on delivering memorable guest experiences in a prestigious setting.
